Karachi: In a launching ceremony held at Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Mr. Farid Ahmed Khan, CEO of ABL Funds (ABL Funds) unveiled the first of its kind mobile application for capital markets. The inauguration of ABL Funds smart phone app was done by Mr. Nadeem Naqvi, Managing Director Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX). Also present on this occasion were Mr. Ejaz Ali Shah, MD Pakistan Mercantile Exchange, Mr. Lukman, MD National Clearing Company & CEOs of leading brokerage houses. In his welcome speech, Mr. Farid Khan said, "We felt that there was a need for a purpose built universal application for financial markets. This app is a convenient tool for retail investors to get live updates on news and financial markets as well as manage their savings with ABL Funds."The app provides live news feeds, forex rates, commodity prices, and local & international money market rates. Mr. Nadeem Naqvi congratulated ABL Funds on this ground breaking achievement and stressed the need to leverage technology to reach retail investors. ABL Funds funds have consistently ranked amongst the top performers in their respective categories. With this launch, ABL Funds not only takes another step towards providing value-added and convenient wealth management solutions to everyone, it also takes a step to provide masses with information on financial markets & savings products with a simple click from anywhere in the world.
